Double Eleven attending Develop Liverpool

Double Eleven will be attending Develop Liverpool 2010. Lee, Matt and myself (Olly) will be there to get the latest from the talks and panels and to look for more outstanding talent. We’re still on an employment drive, so hand over a business card if you’re interested in joining our team.

New Jobs Available at Double Eleven

We are now looking for talented Artists, Programmers and QA Testers with proven track records.

For more information go to our Jobs page.

New Employee – Rod Boyd

Our ever-expanding roster of coders has been increased with the addition of Rod Boyd. Our new ‘Codesmith’ started his days coding submarine sonar systems for the military before starting in the games industry at Rare. Moving on to Xbox Live Studios after, Rod now joins us with his combined eleven years experience. We’re sure he’s going to be a significant hand in our future work. Welcome aboard, Mr. Boyd.

New Employee – Steve Wilson

We’ve just hired Steve Wilson, an exceptionally skilled network programmer.  Steve has been dabbling in network programming all his life but joins us with time at Rockstar, Venom and SimBin/Blimeygames under his belt.  Steve is a massive talent and we’re delighted to have him on the team.  Welcome aboard, Mr. Wilson.

New Employee – Kim Turner

Double Eleven is happy to now be at the size where we feel it’s time to delegate our accountancy to a dedicated member of staff.  And who better than Kimberley Turner ACA, a fully qualified Chartered Accountant, who just so happens to be Lee’s younger sister!  Kim joins us with fifteen months experience as Group Financial Accountant at Hargreaves Services PLC and five years prior within Accountancy Practice.  She will be taking over the money side, HR and sorting all our policies and procedures.  Things are getting serious here at Double Eleven!  Welcome aboard, Mrs T.

New Employee – Olly Bennett

After working with us through his own company as a contract tester, Double Eleven have now offered Oliver Bennett a full-time job as Producer and Test Lead. His great work on a small EA Mobile project (our Skate It update for EA’s iPhone SKU) was enough to convince us we wanted him on our team permanently. We’re looking forward to watching Olly grow into a more experienced Producer with us. Welcome aboard, Mr. Bennett.

These modern new offices boast unique architecture and high-tech fixtures and fittings. We’re looking forward to being fully set-up and working from these new offices. Feel free to come and visit and let us know what you think.

New Employee – Aidan Howe

Double Eleven welcomes Aidan Howe into our ever-expanding team. After working with Lee in the past, we knew he’d be perfect for the job. Taking on the role of Producer, Aidan also possesses design experience from his time working on The Outside at Frontier and other projects at Kuju Chemistry. He also has advanced IT knowledge and considerable QA experience. We’re certain he’ll quickly prove a boon to our company in multiple fields. Welcome aboard, Mr. Howe.
