Sony have announced some awesome pre-order bonuses for LittleBigPlanet PS Vita. For those keen fans that buy the game before it's released, some fantastic looking costumes will be yours to spruce up your Sackboy or Sackgirl, right from the moment you set foot in your pod.

D11's Financial Director nominated at Accountancy Awards

We are extremely proud of our very own Kim Turner who was nominated for Finance Director of the Year at the North East's sixth annual Accountancy Awards. The awards took place at the Newcastle Marriott Gosforth Park on Thursday 31st and were designed to recognise excellence within the fields of accounting and finance. Excellent work Kim!

LBP PS Vita Behind the Curtain Developer Diary

We have lifted the LBP curtains, revealing the passion both we and our brothers in arms Tarsier Studios have put into making the game an amazing experience.

Media Molecule have set the bar at a new height with the advent of the very first LBP. Both Tarsier and ourselves sought to pay homage to these efforts while creating something refreshing and original. PS Vita has been a tremendous platform for our game, taking full advantage of the new features the device brings as well as harnessing every drop of its processing power. We've always believed there is no better demonstrator of PS Vita's abilities than LBP PS Vita.

The folks at Tarsier have leveraged our tech to create what we believe is truly awesome gameplay. We hope it comes across in this video on how the game was designed!

Double Eleven wins Science and Technology Award

On April 26th in the finals of the North East Business Awards, Double Eleven scooped Science and Technology company of the year.

“We were absolutely delighted to win the award. We pride ourselves on the technical abilities of our team, and achieving a result above leading pharmaceutical and web technology companies is a testament to our skillset across the wider industry” said Mark South, Chief of Operations.

The NE Business Awards, currently in their 13th year represent the region’s biggest and most prestigious business competition that highlights and rewards the success of the most outstanding firms over the last 12 months. Companies from all sectors were eligible to compete and as such Double Eleven faced strong competition for the Science and Technology honours, as the awards attracted over 280 entrants.

Kimberley Turner, FD said “Overall we are were absolutely delighted with our results at the annual awards. We walked away with Newcomer, Small Business and Science and Technology company of the year in Tees Valley, as well as Science and Technology company of the year for the entire region.”
