Ian Thomas is the latest member to join the Double Eleven ninjas, entering the dojo as yet another programmer to add to our powerful coding force.  Programming for over 25 years, 15 of those commercially, Ian has experience in a “bewildering” variety of languages.  This ability saw him become a key systems programmer for.

We are currently working on high profile titles with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and are looking forward to.

We all had fun at Codeworks’s PUD event last night. Kay looked great as suspected and the Narnia theme was pretty, if a little restricted to just the entrance of the event. A full venue swallowed up the bar tab a bit too quickly for my liking, but at least Lineker’s outrageous drink prices.

Kay Richardson is the latest member of the Double Eleven team, providing much-needed relief as PA to Lee Hutchinson.  Taking over the day-to-day admin tasks that remained after Kim joined, Kay now enables Lee to turn most of his attentions back towards the game-side of the company.  With experience as an Events and Marketing.

Double Eleven will be at this year’s Codeworks PUD networking event. At Lineker’s bar in Newcastle, we’re told we’ll be transported to Narnia with their wonderful Christmassy fantasy theme. A bar tab and buffet sweeten the deal as well of course! Our very own Kay Richardson is taking to her stilts and dressing up.

GameHorizon’s effort for a great event was almost tangible and I felt a little sympathetic towards them for the horrendous weather’s affect on turnout. Due to the thick snow throughout the country, the attendance was approximately half what was expected. Still, the promise of good food and a bar tab was upheld and Tiger.

We had a great time at Develop Liverpool. Myself (Olly) and Matt each attended a string of talks while Lee shmoosed and networked. We met some great people and the talks were interesting. The most impressive part of the day-long event, for me, was Sony’s spectacular 3D presentation. The slide’s backgrounds of Wipeout and.

A small group of us will be attending ‘Best of British’ down in London’s Piccadilly Circus. Hosted by GameHorizon, this looks to be a great little networking event. With the promise of good traditional English grub and a tab behind the bar, who could resist a trip to network and meet the hardy UK.

Double Eleven will be attending Develop Liverpool 2010. Lee, Matt and myself (Olly) will be there to get the latest from the talks and panels and to look for more outstanding talent. We’re still on an employment drive, so hand over a business card if you’re interested in joining our team..
